Erin Weiser 

Erin has over 25 years of experience in international development, specializing in gender and trade, small and medium enterprise (SME) policy, and citizen engagement. She has managed her own consultancy business, providing advisory services to donor-funded programs for organizations such as ADB, UNDP, USAID, and the World Bank. Erin has also worked with multilaterals in the Asia-Pacific region, including ASEAN and APEC, conducting project portfolio evaluations, providing M&E training, and advising Secretariats on project management and stakeholder engagement. 

  

Before starting her consultancy, Erin worked with the Asia Foundation from 2000 to 2005 as Director of Economic Programs in Indonesia, where she led programs to streamline business licensing, pilot regulatory impact assessments, and strengthen advocacy by small business associations. She began her career at the OECD in the Working Party on SMEs. Her professional experience spans South and Southeast Asia, Central Europe, and Southern Africa. 

  

Erin holds an MSc in Development Management from the London School of Economics, is fluent in French, and speaks some Indonesian.
