Veronica Ayzaguer
Veronica serves as an Executive Fellow and Head of Corporate Programs at the Emerging Markets Investors Alliance (EMIA), an NGO that enables emerging market institutional investors to promote ESG best practices in the governments and companies in which they invest. Currently, she works as a Fund and Impact Manager at Agroempresa Forestal (AF), an impact forestry and agroforestry investment manager in Uruguay with operations in Chile, Brazil and Paraguay. At AF Veronica implemented the system for tracking and reporting ESG metrics to measure the impact of the investments at the asset level, transitioning the company from sustainable to impact management.
Previously, she worked 9 years at LarrainVial in Chile and New York, first at the sell-side Research Department as Head of Corporate Credit for the Andean Region and then at the Institutional Desk as Head of US Sales. Prior to joining LarrainVial, Veronica was a buy-side credit risk analyst for Latam with Principal Financial Group Chile. Veronica received her Master in Finance from Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile and earned her BSc from Universidad Catolica del Uruguay in Management.
