Anna Häggblom
Anna Häggblom is a social anthropologist and global health professional, now working with private sector development. Anna has 15 years experience of project and programme management in international development cooperation. Anna has a global career, having worked for NGOs, in the UN system and as an independent consultant in mostly Africa and South East Asia. She has managed multi-stakeholder parternships involving public and private sector actors, as well as a variety of donors from private foundations to governmental agencies in different countries.
She currently works as Assistant Director of the International Cooperation Programme of the Confederation of Norwegian Enterprise, where she manages programmes focused on private sector development and social sustainability. She leads the monitoring and evaluation work, and manages an international leadership programme for female managers and female Board executives in 6 countries.
With a background in international development, Anna believes lasting change and impact can be achieved through development partnerships. She also considers the force of private sector to be crucial, and is motivated by making the two work together to achieve results.
